📖 Verse 1

قُلْهُوَاللَّهُأَحَدٌ

English Tafsir (Al-Sa‘di):

Say: “He is Allah, the One and Only.”

This verse establishes the absolute oneness of Allah in His essence, attributes, and actions. He has no partner, no equal, and no rival.


📖 Verse 2

اللَّهُالصَّمَدُ

English Tafsir (Al-Sa‘di):

“Allah, the Eternal, Absolute.” As-Ṣamad means the One upon whom all of creation depends for their needs, yet He depends on none.


📖 Verse 3

لَمْيَلِدْوَلَمْيُولَدْ

English Tafsir (Al-Sa‘di):

“He begets not, nor was He begotten.”

Allah is free from the imperfections of having offspring or being born. He is eternal and uncreated.


📖 Verse 4

وَلَمْيَكُنلَّهُكُفُوًاأَحَدٌ

English Tafsir (Al-Sa‘di):

“And there is none comparable unto Him.”

Allah is unique in every respect — no one and nothing can equal or resemble Him in His essence, attributes, or actions.
