📖 Verse 1
وَالتِّينِوَالزَّيْتُونِ
Al-Saʿdī (concise): Allah swears by noble signs—here the fig and the olive—reminding of His blessings and guidance tied to these lands and symbols.

وَطُورِسِينِينَ
Al-Saʿdī (concise): By Mount Sinai—the place of revelation to Mūsā (Moses), another sign of Allah’s guidance to mankind.

وَهَٰذَاالْبَلَدِالْأَمِينِ
Al-Saʿdī (concise): And by this secure city—Makkah—honored with revelation and the safety granted therein.

لَقَدْخَلَقْنَاالْإِنسَانَفِيأَحْسَنِتَقْوِيمٍ
Al-Saʿdī (concise): Allah created the human in the finest stature—physically and spiritually—prepared for guidance and high purpose.
Well-proportioned form and upright disposition enabling knowledge, faith, and deeds.
📖 Verse 5
ثُمَّرَدَدْنَاهُأَسْفَلَسَافِلِينَ
Al-Saʿdī (concise): Then some humans are returned to the lowest state—due to disbelief and corrupt deeds—falling from the honor they were given.
📖 Verse 6
إِلَّاالَّذِينَآمَنُواوَعَمِلُواالصَّالِحَاتِفَلَهُمْأَجْرٌغَيْرُمَمْنُونٍ
Al-Saʿdī (concise): Except those who believe and do good—they have a reward continuous and uncut, unending bounty from Allah.
Not diminished, not severed; an uninterrupted recompense.

فَمَايُكَذِّبُكَبَعْدُبِالدِّينِ
Al-Saʿdī (concise): So what then causes denial of the Recompense, after these clear proofs and reminders?

أَلَيْسَاللَّهُبِأَحْكَمِالْحَاكِمِينَ
Al-Saʿdī (concise): Is Allah not the most just of judges?—affirming His perfect justice and final ruling.
The supremely just and wisest in judgment—none rules more truly than He.
