~ٱللَّيْل~‎
Surah Al-Layl

Allah swears by night and day and by what He created of male and female, that human striving is diverse. Whoever gives, is mindful, and affirms the best will be eased to ease; but whoever withholds, deems himself self-sufficient, and denies the best will be eased to hardship. The fire none will enter but the most wretched, while the most pious will be kept far from it—seeking only the Face of his Lord, and he will surely be pleased.

📚 Recap: Surah Al-Layl

Summary: Oaths by night/day and creation affirm that human efforts diverge: giving + taqwā + truthfulness lead to ease; miserliness + self-sufficiency + denial lead to hardship. The blazing Fire is for the most wretched; the most God-fearing is kept away — he gives purely for Allah’s Face, and will be pleased.

۞ Core contrast ۞

Ease: generosity, taqwā, ṣidq in al-ḥusnā → facilitation to good.
Hardship: withholding, istiġnāʾ, denial → facilitation to difficulty.
