When the Day of Resurrection comes, the sun will be wrapped up and its light will vanish.

The surah opens with a chain of “when…” scenes: the sun folded, stars falling, the sky stripped away, Hell ignited, and Paradise brought near—until every soul knows what it brought.

Allah confirms the Qur’an came through Jibril, a noble and trustworthy messenger, and that Muhammad ﷺ is sound-minded and truthful.

It is a reminder for all worlds: whoever wants to be upright may follow it—yet all willing and guidance occur only by Allah’s will.
