📖 Verse 1
إِنَّاأَعْطَيْنَاكَٱلْكَوْثَرَ
English Tafsir (Al-Sa‘dī):
Indeed, We have granted you abundant good — foremost a river in Paradise and encompassing blessings in this life and the next.
“Abundant good”: includes the river in Jannah, prophethood, followers, knowledge, and lasting virtues.
📖 Verse 2
فَصَلِّلِرَبِّكَوَٱنْحَرْ
English Tafsir (Al-Sa‘dī):
So, in gratitude, perform the prayer for your Lord alone and offer sacrifice solely for Him.
Sincere devotion: worship and rites are directed only to Allah — no share for others.

إِنَّشَانِئَكَهُوَٱلْأَبْتَرُ
English Tafsir (Al-Sa‘dī):
Indeed, the one who hates you — he is the one truly cut off from all good and lasting mention.
“Cut off”: deprived of righteous legacy and enduring favor; the Prophet’s ﷺ mention remains exalted.
