📖 Verse 1
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ
English Tafsir (Al-Sa‘di):
Say, O Prophet — and all believers — I seek refuge and protection in the Lord who nurtures and cares for mankind.
The Sustainer and Protector of all people.
📖 Verse 2
مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ
English Tafsir (Al-Sa‘di):
The true King whose authority encompasses every human being — their lives, affairs, and ultimate outcome.
Absolute sovereignty and command belong to Him alone.
📖 Verse 3
إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ
English Tafsir (Al-Sa‘di):
The only true God of mankind — the One solely deserving of worship, love, humility, and obedience.
Affirms exclusive divinity and worship for Allah alone.
📖 Verse 4
مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ
English Tafsir (Al-Sa‘di):
Protection is sought from the evil of the whisperer who retreats — Satan who suggests sin and doubt, then hides when Allah is remembered.
The constant whisperer into hearts.
The one who withdraws when Allah is remembered.

ٱلَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ
English Tafsir (Al-Sa‘di):
He whispers into the chests of mankind, targeting the most private inner thoughts to turn them away from guidance.

مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ
